Containing more material than used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Dam is 11,811 ft long, 3215 ft thick at the base, 364 ft tall and is carved into from the existing granite, providing irrigation and electricity for the whole of Egypt. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan where much of the red granite used for ancient temples and colossi came from. The Unfinished Obelisk still lies where it was carved when a crack was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. Proceed your trip to visit the majestic Philae Temple which was carefully moved to its current location (around 500 meters from the original site) when the construction of the High Dam caused surrounding Nile waters to rise, Philae Temple was built on the honor of goddess Isis the chief deity of the island. You will then visit the High Dam before being transferred to embark on your Nile cruise. You will then leave the ship to be given lunch on the island, and then enjoy a Felucca trip before heading back to the cruise for dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4

Kom Ombo and Edfu [B, L, D]

Have your breakfast during the early morning,  sail to Komombo.  From the ship you will walk to Komombo temple to visit the temple of Komombo. Back on the boat, you will sail to Edfu bfore having lunch on board. You will then visit Edfu temple or Hours Temple by horse and carriage before cruising to Luxor. Have dinner and spend the night onboard.

Day 5

Luxor [B, L, D]

After breakfast, cross to the West bank in Luxor to visit the valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch and dinner.

Day 6: Luxor

Cairo [B, D]

After breakfast, disembark the cruise and cross to the eastern bank of the Nile,  to see the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Luxor temple was built for the worship of god Amon Ra. Karnak temples include several temples and begins with the spectacular avenue of Rams. Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo.

Day 1

Dahshur, Saqqara and Giza

Your first stop will be Dahshur, where you will see the Red Pyramid (first true pyramid), and the Bent Pyramid (first attempt to build a true pyramid).

Then move on to Saqqara,  and explore the Step Pyramid Complex of King Zoser (oldest complete building of stone).

Have a look at the Pyramid of Unas (first pyramid with texts inside), the causeway of Unas, the Pyramid of Teti (accessible with pyramid texts inside),  and the tomb of Kagemni in Saqqara (a noble man of the Old Kingdom 2200 B.C.).

Afterwards your guide will take you to Giza, where you will see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus.

Enjoy the scenery from the panoramic area and take a 30 min camel ride around the pyramids. Afterwards, explore the Valley Temple and take a closer look at the Great Sphinx.

Cairo

Your first stop will be the Egyptian Museum. See the animal mummy room, the mummy portraits and King Tutankhamun’s jewelry.

Visit the Royal Mummy rooms (at extra cost) if you wish.

Afterwards, sail on a Felucca on the Nile for one hour and enjoy the fresh breeze.

In the afternoon, proceed to Old Cairo and see the main sights, such as the Roman Fortress of Babylon and the Hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga, and the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Explore the Citadel of Saladin and take some pictures of the panorama of the citadel, before exploring the mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha inside the citadel.

Take a stroll over Cairo’s biggest market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, before proceeding to the port to board your dinner cruise ship. Enjoy a buffet dinner and be mesmerized by the oriental show. You will be driven back to your accommodation both days after the tour is finished.

Day 3 :

Breakfast at the Hotel then around 3:30 am  Transfer to the domestic airport to take your flight to Luxor. Arrival Luxor meet & assist by our Local representative  then start your Full Day Tour to the west bank to visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. the famous female ruler of Egypt for 20 years who posed as a male to gain the throne.
Then you’ll visit the necropolis of the ancient city of Thebes. Arriving at the Valley of the Kings, burial place of the kings of Thebes (ancient Luxor) The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII.

Breakfast at the hotel. around 6:00 am Transfer to Luxor airport to take your flight to Cairo. Arrival cairo by 8:00 am meet & assist by our local representative then departure by A/C car to start your full day tour to Memphis, Egypt’s first Capital until the end of the old kingdom 3200 B.C. with colossal staute of king Ramses the second , Close to Memphis, After that we will drive to Sakkara, the City of the dead with the famous step Pyramid of Djosser the world’s oldest major stone structure.
